Our bureau is under the charge of the National Police Agency, Ministry of the Interior, Republic Of China and in charge of police affairs within our districts. The Commissioner manages all affairs in the department, however, while enforcing traffic laws, he is also supervised by the Director General of Highway Bureau, Ministry of Transportation and Communication. There are three deputy Commissioner, one chief secretary. There are four sections: the General Affairs Section, Traffic Section, Logistics Section, and Internal Affairs & Training Section. In addition, there are Secretariat Office, Personnel Office, Budget Accounting and statistics Office, Security Office, as well as the Duty Command Center in our Bureau. The Criminal Investigation Brigade and Special Police Brigade are also stationed in the Headquarters. Altogether, there are also nine brigades and thirty police branches and squads stationed in the freeways of Taiwan’s area.
